If I had to use one word to describe myself I would use driven. I love setting goals and following through to see great results. My professors and fellow students have described me as hard working, creative, team player with great communication skills. In Business school, I was involved in different leadership activities. While taking 18 credits, I was still involved in the student Government Associations as a vice president, designer, and event planner. As my school ambassador, I was able to travel numerous states representing my school and recruiting potential students.
I learned time management skills really well during my time in graduate school. While doing my master’s degree in Information Technology I was also serving as a Teacher’s Assistant and a Graduate Office Managers’ Assistant. Right after graduate school I secured a job as a Software developer at SYSCON in Indiana. At SYSCON Int I worked in back-end development using Python and also front-end development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JQuery. I have used MySQL to analyze clients big data. I am currently working as web designer and IT help desk at Computer Connections Wisconsin Inc.
I am looking for a career that will utilize my business and computer skills. Given the chance, with the skill sets and knowledge I bring to the table, I believe that I could be an asset to your company. My former boss has described me as, “Emnet is intelligent, and very creative – two key features that I look for in a developer. I saw in her great potential to do amazing things in the development world and looked forward to being a part of that. I know every business does things differently and I may need to learn a thing or two about how you run your business, but I’m willing to learn and confident in my ability to learn quickly and be the best I could be at whatever task assigned to me.
